Program Oversight
Oversight of the SHARS program is a cooperative effort between the Texas Education Agency (TEA) and Health and Human Services Commission (HHSC)
Time Study
It is a requirment of the SHARS program that all related providers of a district participate in a time study to determine the amount of time that is spent providing services (known as Random Moment Time Study in Texas or RMTS)

Cost Report
Another requirment of the SHARS program is that a district submit an annual cost report for all SHARS services delivered during a federal fiscal year (FFY=October 1 - September 30)
